Aggravated Assault: Kenneth Askew, 27, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his brother and chased him carrying knives. Officials say the brothers were on Spring Street when they started arguing. The dispute continued when the men later returned to their West State Street apartment, according to police who say Askew grabbed kitchen knives and chased his brother trying to harm him. Eventually Askew caught his brother, officials say, and punched him several times in the head and face, causing lacerations, contusions, and knocking out a tooth. Askew was still on scene when cops arrived to investigate, so they arrested him for aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Heroin and Crack: Leon Mack, 26, and Justin Shirzynski, 30, were arrested Wednesday night after police interrupted an alleged drug deal. When police searched them, Mack had four grams of crack cocaine and Shirzynski had one gram of cocaine and three decks of heroin.
Pot Bust: Crystal Williams, 37, was arrested after police found her in possession of marijuana and a digital scale during a traffic stop on Eisenhower Avenue. Police initially stopped her for speeding and then saw her shoving objects in her waistband as they approached the car, prompting further investigation. Police also seized $493 as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Large Pot Bust: Bryan Maynard Barclay, 28, of Norristown, was arrested Pennsylvania police recovered 15 lbs. of marijuana during a traffic stop.
around noon Wednesday after police found 15 lbs. Of marijuana in the trunk of his vehicle. Officials say cops stopped Barclay on I-476 after realizing the registration on Barclay’s car belonged on a different vehicle. Further investigation during the subsequent traffic stop uncovered the drugs. Barclay was taken to Delaware County Prison after not being able to pay bail, which was set at $20,000.
Bristol, Pa.
Stolen Vehicles: An allterrain vehicle and a dirt bike were stolen from a property in the 2700 block of Veterans Highway. The suspect gained access to the vehicles by cutting an opening in the fence. The loss is estimated at $7,000.
Computer Theft: Two computers were stolen from a property located in the 7200 block of New Falls Road. The loss is estimated at $400.
Game Theft: Someone stole two Playstation video games from a store located in the 100 block of Library Lane. The loss is estimated at $120.
Stolen Meds: A man entered a store in the 8500 block of New Falls Road, filled a basket with over the counter Mucinex and Abreva, then left the store without paying for them. The loss is estimated at $612.
Burglary: A chop saw, copper piping and fittings were stolen from a property located in the 100 block of Blue Lake Road. The suspect gained entry through a sidewall. The loss is estimated at $800.
