Lincoln Stamatios Rigas, 84, of Hamilton entered into God’s eternal rest on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Compassion­ate Care Hospice Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Samos, Greece, he immigrated to the United States and has resided in the Trenton area since he was 16 years old. Lincoln was a very hard worker and was employed for many years at the Ford Motor Company in North Brunswick, NJ. He loved reading and was very well read. He loved Theology. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfathe­r, uncle, and friend to many.

Son of the late Konstantin­os and Marigo (Christodou­lo) Rigas; Lincoln is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Vasiliki “Vaso” (Christodou­laki) Rigas; his three children, Maria and husband William Sarigeorgi­ou, Konstantin­os “Dean” Rigas and wife Violeta, and Christina and husband George Svoronos; a granddaugh­ter, Elena Sarigeorgi­ou; a brother, Emanuel Rigas and wife Eleni; a sister, Niki and husband Pantelis Messologit­is; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Greek Orthodox funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton BrennaCell­ini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercervill­e Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
