Trenton
Stolen Gun and Cocaine: Jataj Melvin, 19, was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly tossed a handgun into a trash can after noticing police in the area. Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit saw him in front of a home and stopped when they witnessed the gun drop. When cops searched him, they allegedly found crack cocaine. Police say the 9mm semiautomatic handgun was previously reported stolen out of the capital city.
Heroin and Marijuana: Marcus Carmichael, 27, was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly tossed heroin onto the ground upon seeing cops in the area of Hermitage and Stuyvesant avenues. When cops stopped and searched him, they allegedly found weed.
Drug Bust: Fredrick Eutsey, 43, was arrested after a short foot chase that uncovered heroin and marijuana. Officials say cops patrolling near the Oakland Park Apartments saw Eutesy, whom they know does not reside in the complex. Eutsey ran, officials say, but was apprehended a short distance away. When they searched him, cops found the drugs.
Robbinsville
Copper Theft: Michael Gallagher, 29, of Toms River, was arrested for allegedly stealing $1,500 worth of copper from a property in the 300 block of Sharon Road. He is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglar tools and other offenses.
Pot Bust: Milton Pritchett, 46, of Camden, was arrested after police allegedly found marijuana during a traffic stop on Route 130.
Pot Bust Too: Heidi Brake, 28, of Levittown, was arrested after police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on I-195.
Bristol, Pa,
Stolen Vehicle: A man stole a 2004 Chevrolet that was parked in the 500 block of State Road. The loss is estimated at $4,000. Theft: Someone stole a catalytic converter out of a 1999 Acura that was parked in the 3000 block of Ford Road. The loss is estimated at $475.
Vandalism: Someone broke a bedroom window in an apartment in the 3000 block of Ford Road. The damage is estimated at $100.
Theft: Someone stole 25 baseboard heaters and 50 feet of copper tubing out of a home in the 1900 Prospect Avenue. The loss is estimated at $375.
Lower Makefield, Pa.
ID Theft: A resident of Highland Drive told police someone used their credit card to make $2,278 worth of unauthorized purchases.
High on Pills: A teenager was cited for public drunkenness after police found them intoxicated inside a suspiciously parked vehicle near the intersection of Big Oak and Pine Grove roads. Officials say the investigation revealed the teen had taken unprescribed Ambien.
Shoplifting: Someone stole $63 worth of merchandise from ShopRite on Big Oak Road.
Fraud: A resident of West Trenton Avenue told police someone used their credit card to make $280 worth of unauthorized purchases.
Penndel, Pa.
Asleep at the Wheel: William Cloak III was recently
arrested after police allegedly found him asleep at the wheel blocking traffic in the area of Hulmeville and South Bellevue avenues. When Cloak retrieved his license from a bag in the back seat, officials say, cops saw paraphernalia on the floor of the driver’s seat. Cloak later admitted to smoking cocaine earlier that day.
