Henry J. Murl, 83, of Hamilton Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, in Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a life-long Trenton/Hamilton resident.

Henry was a US Navy and US Army Veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1995 after thirty-two years from Imo DeLaval, Hamilton, NJ.

He was a member of the Our Lady of the Angels/Immaculate Conception Church and its Holy Name Society, PTA, Athletic Associatio­n and bowling team. Henry was an avid New York Yankee and Green Bay Packers fan, and bingo player, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Predecease­d by his parents, Henry J. and Sophia McHale Murl and his sister, Loretta Episcopo; he is survived by his wife, Carolyn D. Dorner Murl; a daughter, Joy Murl and her fiancé, Leslie Hernandez; his step-children and their spouses, Francis and Loli Suarez, Marlo Santora, Lori and Tujai Semiz, and Lisa and Robert Plaugher; a brother and sister-inlaw, Thomas and Louise Murl, grandchild­ren, Koryn Garcia, Julian Hernandez, Steven Suarez, Thomas Joseph Stohr, Kayla Stohr, Kerstin Santora, Karly Santora, Eric Suarez, Christian Suarez, Robert Talbert, Laura Talbert, Ferah Semiz, and Frankie Suarez, 8 great grandchild­ren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 8:30 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Angels/ Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening, April 5, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.

Burial with Military Honors will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018, at 9:30 a.m., in the Chapel at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 350 Providence Line Road, Wrightstow­n, NJ 08562.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in his name to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
