Trenton

Leave Please: Jacqueline McRae, 38, was charged with simple assault, resisting and obstructio­n after cops responded to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for a reported assault. Security told officers McRae had been discharged from the hospital but refused to leave and hit one of the guards on the arm. Officers tried to take her into custody but she flailed from the officers’ grasp.

Battery Man: Paul Livingston, 57, was nabbed on shopliftin­g and receiving stolen property charges after cops responded to the 7-Eleven on Chambers Street where cops saw Livingston struggling with a convenienc­e store worker. The worker saw Livingston take batteries and try to leave with them. The clerk stopped him and police arrested Livingston when they arrived at the store. He also had warrants out for his arrest.

Drug Pop: Marquise Brown, 25, was arrested by violent crime detectives conducting an operation at the corner of East State and Broad streets where they saw Brown do an apparent drug deal. Detectives recognized Brown from previous investigat­ions, moved in and arrested him. Cops recovered 78 decks of heroin and a small amount of cash seized as evidence. Fight, Fight, Fight: Marion Baldwin, 33, was charged with obstructio­n after cops responded to the intersecti­on of Oakland Street and Hoffman Avenue for a street fight. The crowd dispersed as the cops got there. Cops started to leave and saw another fight break out down the block. Baldwin was walking in the middle of the street and refused to get out of the way when he was ordered to do so by officers. He was taken into custody without incident and police learned he had warrants out for arrest. Crack: Charles Bethea, 48, was charged by detectives patrolling Tyler and Hudson streets when they stopped a car for turning without signaling. During the stop, cops saw crack cocaine near Bethea’s feet. He was removed, searched and found with a glass pipe cops say people use for crack cocaine. Cops found a small amount of crack cocaine inside the car. Bethea also had warrants for his arrest.

Bad Behavior: Charles Phelps, 46, was hit with a charge of improper behavior after street crime detectives responded to a report of a man with a gun. They encountere­d a large crowd in the middle of the street. Phelps was arrested as others were told to leave. Two others were issued summons for being disorderly. Police recovered a handgun at the back of J&J Bar. No one was charged with possessing the handgun which is being processed for potential fingerprin­ts to see if it can be linked to someone. DUI: Celio Chavez, 29, was hit with a drunken driving charge after cops responded to a disturbanc­e on the 200 block of Genesee Street. Chavez told cops he was trying to park his car but hit another vehicle. Cops believed Chavez was drunk and arrested and charged him.

Molly Man: Alzavier Upshur, 28, was charged after street crime detectives in the 500 block of West State Street saw a suspicious parked car and smelled pot coming from it. Upshur was found with some pot along with ectasy, a digital scale and $369 in cash seized as suspected drug proceeds.

Winslow

Raid: Darrell Jenkins, 31, of Sicklervil­le, was arrested for possession and distributi­on of heroin following a two month-long investigat­ion that culminated in a raid on his Covington Drive home.

Lower Makefield, Pa.

Scam: A resident of Marlboro Road told police they were scammed out of $1,925 by someone claiming the victim had been awarded money through a class action lawsuit. The caller told the victim to wire the money as a lawyer fee, and that cash would then be deposited into their account. Police say the victim was not allowed to keep the supposed payout and ended up losing the money paid as an attorney fee.
