Santina Rose (Seamon) Simonelli, 87 years of age, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday

April 18, 2018.

Known as Sandy, she was born in Trenton, NJ and was a Ewing resident for most of her life.

Sandy retired as head secretary from the Ewing Township School District after many years, and was also an employee of the Trentonian newspaper.

Sandy was the founder and first president of the Mother of Twins Club of Mercer County, NJ and a member of the Rosary-Altar Society of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

Sandy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was a loyal friend who was helpful to anyone in need and stood in judgement of no one. To know Sandy Simonelli was to love her as she was a special loving example of a woman filled with love and great compassion.

Daughter of the late William and Santina Calcese Seamon; wife of the late beloved Frank Michael Simonelli, Sr.; sister of the late Joan Seamon and Rose Marie Thomas, Sandy is survived by her 5 children, Frank Simonelli, Jr of Los Angelesf, CA., William and his wife, Tara Simonelli of Hamilton, NJ; Sandra and Dean Nicholaou of Hamilton, NJ, Linda and Dino Doukas of Huntington, NY, and John and his wife, Barbara Simonelli of Farmingvil­le, NY; 13 grandchild­ren, Tre Simonelli, Liam and Leif Simonelli, Sara (Robby) Hollenstai­n, Mary, Rebecca and Paul Nicholaou, George, Dean, Michael and Alex Doukas, Grace and Madison Simonelli; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Ted Pietras of Henderson, NV and Arlene White of Las Vegas, NV. Also survived by many friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 21 at 10AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Road, West Trenton, NJ.

Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Avenue, Ewing Township, NJ.
