Despite win, Truman on outside looking in

- Staff Report

BRISTOL TWP., PA. » The Truman High softball team did what it had to Wednesday by beating Bensalem, 13-0, but it may be too little, too late in terms of making the districts.

The way it stands heading after Wednesday is Truman must find a team to play and beat on Thursday that has at least 10 wins in order to pick up enough power points to make the postseason.

“This (stinks),” said Truman coach Lisamarie Ramagli. “We’ve been calling around, but nobody wants to play.”

Improving to 10-9 and dropping Bensalem to 6-11, Truman was led by the four-hit pitching of Hayley Carter. Chrissy Huhn led the Tigers at the plate with a 4-for-4. Kalelia Heston also doubled for Truman.
