Jane D. Klama, 98 passed away on May

16, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center in Lawrenceville, NJ. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, she resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area during her life.

Miss Klama had been employed by Henry Clay and Bock & Co. Ltd. Cigar Factory on Grand Street in South Trenton which produced cigar brands of Henry Clay, Bock, La Corona, and Village Brands, among others, and at John A. Roebling & Son Wire Division during World War II. Later she became the housekeeper for the C.K. Blauth Family of Titusville, NJ, and upon the death of Mr. Blauth, Jane lovingly acted as a caregiver of Mrs. Blauth until her passing.

Jane enjoyed extensive traveling through the US and Europe with her friends. She also was extremely talented in arts and crafts which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Miss Klama was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Antoinette Ochtera Klama, baby sister Hedwig, brothers Stephen V., Leon M., John A., and Adolph M. Klama, sisters Eleanor M. and Victoria C. Klama and Dolores C. Carvill, and dear friend, Margaret Nemes Ero.

Surviving is her sister, Felicia J. Stoj, sister and brother-in law, Adele M. and John A. Arbitell, and brother and sisterin-law, Raymond R. and Dolores Klama, sister in law Louise Klama many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and -nephews, and friends Susan Csapo and Marie Piestor.

The funeral will be held Friday morning, May 25, at 11:00 AM from the Winowicz Funeral Home, 308 Adeline Street, South Trenton. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:30AM in the Church of the Holy Cross (201 Adeline Street}, Sacred Heart Parish, Trenton, with Rev. Thomas Kunnath presiding. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (time of service) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses for the repose of Jane’s soul, or donations in her memory to a deserving charity of the donor’s choice.
