Toni Jackson

Mrs. Toni Leslie Jackson, age 62, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ. She was born in Trenton; was a lifelong resident and graduate of Trenton Central High School. Toni was a retired employee of the Trenton Board of Education with 25 years of dedicated service.

Mother of the late Lester Jackson Jr. and Sabrina Leslie Jackson; daughter of the late William Clarence Davis and Edna Leftwich; daughter-in-law of the late Jesse Jean Jackson, Sr. and Marie Jackson, stepdaughter of the late Mattie Mae Davis, sister of the late Gertrude Davis, Robert “Bubby” Leftwich, and Lillian Forte, sister-in-law of the late Jesse Jean Jackson Jr.

Toni is survived by her devoted husband, Mr. Lester Jackson, Sr., her son, William Davis; her grandchildren, DeAsia Grissom and Autumn Mason; her sister, Debra Ann Davis and her brother, Leroy McMillon; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Jackson and Michael Jackson, sisters-in-law, Brenda Jackson, Phyllis Jackson, and Sandra Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Toni was Lester’s girl…lover, wife, and best friend.

Funeral service will be 11am, Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery Hamilton, NJ.
