Support Josh Welle for Congress

-

“Last week, Congressman Chris Smith (R-CD4) voted to rescind $7 billion from the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) budget sending a message that prior commitments to provide health care to nearly 9 million children are unimportant. Couple that with his nearly five dozen votes to repeal or damage the Affordable Care Act and it becomes apparent the constituents of CD4 are represented by a Congressman who puts partisanship above all else. Smith subscribes to the Trump agenda which alienates and harms the most vulnerable in our communities.

We need a new generation of leadership in Washington; leadership which recognizes health care is a basic human right; leadership which is in tune with the needs of all constituents; leadership that lives in our district. Josh Welle is running for Congress from CD4 and he will fight for universal health care for all. Additionally, he will work tirelessly to create jobs in Central Jersey, improve our decaying infrastructure, implement common-sense gun legislation and protect our environment. All the issues Congressman Smith has chosen to ignore for the last 38 years.

Josh Welle’s life experiences as a veteran, entrepreneur and educator have prepared him for the challenges of representing our district in Congress. He will put country over party first so everyone will be well represented and have access to affordable health care. This is why the voters should support Josh Welle for Congress on November 6th. “
