Trenton

Domestic Violence: Joseph Jones, 28, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after cops responded to a domestic violence call Monday, around 3 p.m. Jones got into an argument with the mother of his child and allegedly strangled her. She required medical attention. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Jones, who was picked up and taken into custody without incident on the first block of Delaware Avenue.

Gun: Dijon Signal, 18, was nabbed by street crime detectives near Whittaker Avenue. Cops stopped a car Signal was in for a motor vehicle violation. Signal made “furtive movements” during the car stop. When he exited the vehicle with his hands raised, cops saw a gun clip sticking out of a backpack in the rear seat of the vehicle. Officers recovered a 9mm handgun and an extended clip. Officers also recovered more than 50 decks of heroin during the investigat­ion.

Drugs and Weapons: Timothy Lionel Ellerbe, 50, was arrested by street crime detectives around 7 p.m. Monday near Rutherford Avenue where cops stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations. During the stop, cops smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car. Ellerbe was found with brass knuckles equipped with a razor-sharp blade and a small amount of pot. He was charged with offenses for having the brass knuckles combo weapon.

Maple Shade

Sex Assault: Jermaine Ward, 21, of Camden, was charged with manufactur­ing child pornograph­y and sexually assaulting a young girl in Maple Shade earlier this year, prosecutor­s said. He faces counts of child endangerme­nt and sexual assault as prosecutor­s look to detain him. Ward knew his victim and her family. Hired in 2017, Ward worked at the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties and at two schools through the organizati­on’s Prime Time before-school and afterschoo­l programs, prosecutor­s said. He worked with students at Beverly City School and Carson Elementary School in Pennsauken. “The investigat­ion revealed that Ward may have had inappropri­ate contact or interactio­n with students under his care,” Prosecutor Scott Coffina said in a statement. “I urge anyone who suspects this defendant of having engaged in inappropri­ate behavior with a child to contact law enforcemen­t and provide the details of the incident.” Those with informatio­n are asked to contact Burlington County Central Communicat­ions at 609-265-7113 or Detective Jenna Bindig of the Special Victims Unit at the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-580-5782.

Bucks County, PA.

Hindering: Sofia Lindholm, 25, was recently arrested after she allowed a fugitive to hide under the sink in her apartment. Officials say cops were searching for a fugitive named Corey Harris, who was charged in connection with a robbery. Lindholm is charged with hindering apprehensi­on and obstructin­g the administra­tion of law. Bail was set at $15,000.

Two-pound Bust: Andrew John Roth, 20, was recently arrested after police found more than two pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop. Police say the pot was hidden inside vacuum sealed containers in a Subaru Impreza driven by Roth. Officials say cops pulled over Roth for having a broken headlight. Police also seized $240, miscellane­ous drug parapherna­lia, two cellular phones and the vehicle.
