St. Augustine knocks out Notre Dame in Non-Public A South

RICHLAND >> The secondseed­ed St. Augustine Prep boys soccer team would not allow third-seeded Notre Dame to score in the NJSIAA Non-Public A South Tournament Monday.

As a result, the Irish fell out of state tournament contention with a 4-0 loss to the Hermits.

Antonio Matos tallied twice, while Jimmy Olivia and CJ Ottinger added single scores to send St. Augustine on to the A South final at top-seeded Christian Brothers Academy Thursday.
