Thomas E. Tokazewski, 72, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at home.

Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.

A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era, Tom retired as a Supervisor from the Superior Court of NJ after 39 years of service. He was an avid musician playing the piano and keyboard for many area groups and enjoying all types of music. In his spare time, Tom and his wife enjoyed trips to Newport, Rhode Island, and also traveling to Atlantic City, and he also enjoyed cooking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. A beloved husband, father, and grandfathe­r, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Son of the late Edward C. and Mary Hresko Tokazewski, he is survived by his loving wife Shirley Dougherty Tokazewski of 49 years, two sons and daughters-inlaw, Dr. Jeffrey and Anne Tokazewski of Medford Lakes, and Timothy and Doreen Tokazewski of Southampto­n; four grandchild­ren, Paige, Sean, Rory, and Liffey Tokazewski; in-laws, Joan Dougherty, and Helen and Martin Dougherty; nieces and nephews, Lori Luckie, Michael Dougherty, Aaron Dougherty, and Melissa Longmuir; as well as many other family members and friends.

Relatives and friends may attend a visitation of Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. A brief prayer service will be held 11 a.m. at the memorial chapel with local clergy officiatin­g.

Burial will be private and at the convenienc­e of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributi­ons may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
