Donald L. Streeter of Hamilton
Donald L. “Daddy-O” Streeter, 89, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care, Friday, November 9, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, he resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area since 1951.
Mr. Streeter proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was formerly employed as a Tractor Trailer Driver for many years prior to his retirement from Carolina Trucking Company in Hamilton.
Daddy-O as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed going to the casinos, and was a staunch Phillies and Eagles fan. He was a loving devoted husband, father, uncle and a special friend to those who knew him. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and will be remembered, as the special person he was, always willing to help anyone. He will be sadly missed.
Predeceased by his parents, Allen and Elizabeth (Donnelly) Streeter, his stepmother, Ethel (Scanlon) Streeter and his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Antoinette (DeLeonardis) Streeter, he is survived by his devoted daughter, Debra Ann Streeter; his sister, Dee Gannon; his special caring niece, Donna Geisenhoner and husband James; his second daughter, Theresa Di Stefano and the son he never had, Anthony Marrazzo; also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The Funeral will be held 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Wednesday, November 14 at Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 14 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home.
