Michael John McVicker of Hamilton

Michael John McVicker, 61, of Hamilton passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018 at home with his family. Born in Trenton, Michael resided in Hamilton most of his life. He graduated from Steinert High School in 1977 and was a member of the 1975 Boy Soccer State Championship team. He was a member of the Operating Engineer Union, previously working at AT&T in Hopewell and Merrill Lynch in Princeton. Michael enjoyed his weekend trips to Atlantic City.

Predeceased by his mother, MaryAnn C. McVicker. Michael is survived by his father, Robert McVicker II, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert McVicker III, Barry and Lori McVicker, Brian and Wendy McVicker all of Hamilton; nephews Robert McVicker IV and wife Darcie of East Ampton, James McVicker of Hamilton, nieces Katie and husband Joseph Nicolai of Hamilton, Kara Giovannetti and husband Michael, niece Jennifer McVicker and nephews Brian McVicker and Christopher McVicker all of Hamilton; great-nephews and great-niece Joshua McVicker and Mia Giovannetti, Robert McVicker, V of East Ampton, and Nunzio Nicolai of Hamilton; uncles Randy Burke and wife Carol, John McKeever all of Hamilton and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, December 8th from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
