Trenton

Pot and Promethazi­ne: Duane Robinson, 29, and Daishawn Dickerson, 28, and Earl Wells, 37, were arrested by cops patrolling on Carter Avenue. They saw a minivan with overly tinted windows and pulled alongside of the parked vehicle. They smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car once the driver lowered the window. The driver was smoking a pot cigar. Cops searched the vehicle after removing the occupants. They found promethazi­ne, blunts and $1,556 in cash, seized as suspected ill-gotten proceeds.

Just A Little Pot: Tamir Barrett, 25, was arrested after cops spotted a black Honda CRV with a driver who didn’t have his seat belt on while the cops were patrolling Monmouth

Avenue. Cops smelled pot coming from the vehicle and removed Barrett from the car. He admitted to have pot on him, and cops recovered at least four bags.

Upset About Getting The Boot: James Bailey, 38, was arrested Thursday morning after police met the victim at a store on 800block of Greenwood Avenue. She left her home on the first block of Chambers Street after Bailey kicked in her door and pulled a knife on her. He was apparently upset because she had kicked him out of the house hours earlier. He returned armed

and threatened to kill her. The woman was unharmed. Cops recovered the knife and arrested Bailey without incident.

New Brunswick

Finally Found: A wanted South Plainfield man who had eluded authoritie­s for 16years was arrested this week on a fugitive from justice warrant. Rayed Bukhari, 42, had failed to appear in court in 2002 for sentencing on charges he was found guilty of which include sexual assault, criminal restraint, unlawful possession of a weapon, and false imprisonme­nt. He was arrested

by FBI Agents at his job in Long Island City, New York. He was remanded into federal custody after an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Newark. Bukhari was previously found guilty by a jury in November 2001, of sexual assault, criminal restraint, unlawful possession of a weapon, and false imprisonme­nt. Bukhari had been arrested Sept. 9, 2000for sexually assaulting the victim who he knew. He was also found to be in possession of a sword at the time. Bukhari was a no-show for sentencing at Middlesex County Superior Court on

May 28, 2002. He had been a fugitive since 2002. “I applaud the diligent efforts of the law enforcemen­t officers that led to the safe capture of this fugitive, including those from the Newark and New York Divisions of the FBI, the New York Police Department, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office,” Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said in a statement. “Furthermor­e, I would like to thank the United States Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey for their assistance in this matter.”

Bristol Borough, PA.

Police are searching for Edmundo Deleon of Bath Street in the borough who is wanted on charges of burglary, criminal Trespass and theft. A felony warrant was issued by Hon. Frank W Peranteau, Sr. on Thursday. Deleon is accused of entering into his neighbors’ home through a second-floor window. After busting in, he met with another individual who was waiting for him outside before the two fled the area. Anyone with informatio­n on Deleon’s whereabout­s is asked to call Detective William Davis at 215-788-7813, ext. 2425.
