WW-PS collects third straight victory

ROBBINSVIL­LE >> The West Windsor-Plainsboro High South girls basketball team held off Robbinsvil­le, 37-31, Friday for its third straight win.

The game was tied, 13-13, at the break, then the host Ravens took 20-19 lead into the fourth quarter. But an 18-11 spurt by the Pirates helped them improve to 4-3.

TRENTON 62, HOPEWELL 44 HOPEWELL TWP. >> Leading by a basket at intermissi­on, the Tornadoes came out to outscore the Bulldogs, 25-12, in the third quarter to take control.

Ishuana Hunter dominated inside with 22 points, while N’Dia Stepps and Maliajah Robinson added 18 and 16 points, respective­ly.

Meggy Wiley’s 12 points were high for Hopewell.
