Notre Dame slips past Mater Dei

MONMOUTH >> Justin Yu pumped in 26 points and paced the Notre Dame boys basketball team to a close, 55-53, win over host Mater Dei on Saturday afternoon.

The Irish (9-2), winners of three straight games, also got a double-double from Michael Kane as he finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
