Devon Kueny is an outstandin­g scholar with a GPA of 4.48 and is currently ranked in the top one percent of a senior class of 259 students. Devon has constantly challenged herself with vigorous honors and AP courses at Ewing High School. Devon currently serves as President of our National Honor Society and is member of our highly selective Peer Leadership program acting as a mentor to freshmen. Devon was accepted to John Hopkins Center for talent youth and was nominated for the New Jersey Governor’s School in the Sciences. She is an excellent role model with her diligent work ethic, school spirit, involvemen­t in athletics and service activities.

Devon has earned varsity letters in three sports: Girl’s Soccer, Softball and Wrestling. Yes, Devon is the only girl on our wrestling team. Devon is constantly competing against boys on the mat. Devon was EHS Athlete of the Week twice for her effort and performanc­e on the mat. Devon has also been named All-Area Third Team and All-CVC First Team for Softball. Devon has played for Varsity Softball and Travel Softball since her freshman year. This past season Devon has served as Captain of our Girls Soccer Team earning Third Team All-CVC honors.

Devon is a musician who plays multiple instrument­s. She is a first stand violinist in the school’s orchestra. She also plays the saxophone, ukulele, guitar and piano. Devon is involved in our Student Council, Key Club, and is the President of our Sports Medicine Club.

Outside of Ewing High School, Devon volunteers for the organizati­on Pete’s Sake (an adult cancer patient program) and has coached for youth softball clinics. Devon is a lifeguard at our local Ravine Swim Club and also babysits. Devon committed to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvan­ia where she will be playing softball.
