Mohammad Al-Mohimine of Hamilton High School West
Mohammad Al-Mohimine is the number 1 ranked student at Hamilton High West with a cumulative GPA of 4.73. Mohammad applied and was accepted into the competitive QuestBridge Program. He was matched with Princeton University and received a full college scholarship. He has elected to study Molecular Biology to pursue a career in medicine ultimately working as an Orthopedic Surgeon. Mohammad started taking high school courses at Grice Middle School. This allowed him to take a total of 12 AP courses where he achieved the highest success. Mohammad’s kind and intellectual nature will allow him to be a compassionate doctor and a leader in his field. His Math Teacher Mr. Kline, describes Mohammad in the following manner, “Mohammad is just the kind of driven, engaging, and curious student that helps make the classroom a lively environment and safe place to take intellectual risks. He is talented, caring, intuitive, dedicated, and focused in his pursuits. Mohammad is truly a standout individual who will impress everyone he meets”.
Mohammad is not only an academic student he is also actively involved in the community. Mohammad is a member of many honor societies, Key Club and Peer Leadership. Peer Leadership is a prestigious program designed to help transition freshman into the West Community. You must demonstrate leadership and mentorship qualities. Mohammad is the type of student that leads by example. He is humble in his accomplishments and a born leader. Hamilton High School West is very proud of Mohammad’s achievements. He will enrich and excel at Princeton University.
