Brynn Peterson is a senior at Hightstown High School where she has proven herself to be an accomplish­ed student-athlete. She has been a four year Varsity member of the Cross Country, Swim and Spring Track teams. She has also been a swimmer on the Peddie Aquatic Club swim team for the past thirteen years.

Brynn started swimming competitiv­ely at the age of five and instantly fell in love with the sport. She has competed at Speedo Sectional meets, Futures meets, Senior States and Junior Olympics meets in her tenure as a club swimmer. She broke the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay records as a member of the Hightstown High School swim team. At the Meet of Champs she placed 16th in the 50 freestyle, 12th in the 100 freestyle, 7th in the 200 medley relay, and 19th in the 200 free relay in the State of New Jersey. She has also received All CVC honors since her freshman year in the 50 and 100 freestyle events. In 2018 Brynn was named to the nj.com list of the Top 50 female swimmers in New Jersey. She signed her National Letter of Intent to swim for La Salle University in October and is very excited to continue her swimming career as an Explorer.

Brynn also discovered a love of running in middle school. She has competed in 5K races as a Cross Country athlete finishing as high as 18th in Mercer County. During Spring Track seasons she has competed in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and 4x400 relay teams. She has medaled in the 800m at MCT’s, competed at the Penn Relays, as well as qualified for Sectionals all four years. In 2018 her Distance Medley Relay team broke the school record.

In addition to sports, Brynn has also focused on her academics. She was inducted into the National Honor Society and German National Honor Society and has been a member of the Red Cross Club. Brynn has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Hightstown High School and is thankful to her coaches, teachers, friends and family for their guidance and support in this process of becoming a future college student-athlete.
