Rachel Warner of Mercer County Technical Schools
An active and contributing member of the school and community, Rachel has a long list of academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Rachel Warner is an integral part of our school community, she serves on leadership position in Student Council as the State Charity Representative. She helps organize and communicate between all charities that we offer at our school. Health Occupation Students of America(HOSA). She is also serves on Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), YearBook Club, Model United Nations, South Asian Club, and is a member of Cross County and Swimming at her sending school. In between her school work and other activities, she also managed to find time for an internship at Hightstown EMT, as a “Cadet EMT”. Rachel is part of Hightstown First Aid Squad where she rides with the EMS. Rachel keen interest in the health care field extends to her volunteer activities. During 2018, she has been volunteering 4 hours a week at the Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey in the Emergency Room Department and the Main Information Desk. Rachel also volunteers for Relay for Life, tutors elementary school children, is the Assistant Coach for Girls on the Run. Another huge activity that Rachel is involved in is Girl Scouts, she has been an active member since 2007. She is currently and Ambassador Scout, which is the highest level, and is currently working on her Gold Award. She was recently selected to travel to England to stay at an international camp where she helped rebuild an assisted living center. She was part of the Unity Service Team where she aided in the planning and execution or camp activities. Outside of school and community activities, Rachael works at Peddie Athletic center as a lifeguard and teaches swim lesson to kids and adults. She is a genuinely good person who has nothing but kindness in her heart and does it for the good of the school and her community
She has a love of learning and ability to care for others will serve her well in the future.
