Sara Haas of Nottingham High School

Sara is a lifelong Hamilton resident who attended Saint Raphael School from kindergarten through eighth grade. She came to Nottingham High School as a freshman and has excelled both inside and outside of the classroom.

Sara is currently a senior at Nottingham, where she has an impressive grade point average of 4.06 and is number 30 out of 316 students. She is a proud member of the National Honor Society and is a three year Academic Award recipient. She volunteers her time with Outreach for the Stars as well as at basketball events for the YMCA Skor Program in Hamilton.

As a three season varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, she is a role model for her peers. Sara’s basketball honors include being named the 2016 and 2017 Michael Tucker All Tournament Player, the 2016 most improved player, the 2017 Hustle Award (awarded by the coaches), and the 2017 December Athletic Booster Athlete of the Month. Her soccer honors include being named the Athletic Booster Athlete of the Month and receiving an All CVC Honorable Mention in 2017. In lacrosse, she was named the March 2016 Athletic Booster Athlete of the Month and was the 2017 season’s most valuable player.

Sara will attend Eastern University in Pennsylvania this fall. The Nottingham Community is very proud of her accomplishments and wishes her the best in the future.
