-

This year’s highlight for outstanding academic achievement is Abigail Klimas, senior student at Trenton Catholic Academy. Abigail is strongly fascinated by the sciences and looks to pursue a STEM-related career, combining Forensics and Biology. This is a very fitting career path for a young woman as ambitious and driven as Abigail. She will serve as this year’s Valedictorian with strong academic GPA of 4.11. Abigail has earned the acknowledgement of “Honors with Distinction” throughout her time here at TCA and has recently been inducted into the National Honor’s Society. Additionally, Abigail is currently excelling in English 101/102, the Dual Enrollment courses through partnership with Mercer Community College, and will study college-level English with MCCC staff.

Abigail volunteers her time at “Marty’s PlaceSenior Dog Sanctuary, where she has gained skills in patience, time-management and caring for others. She also works as a Cashier in the Mercer County Park. Lastly, she is a part of the Genetics and Biotechnology Club. Abigail comes from a family line of scientists, and credits her family for her love and curiosity of the scientific inquiries. She prides herself on her dedication to academics and her excellence in the STEM-related subjects. She is quiet and disciplined in her academic pursuits. She blossomed from a curious and shy young student to a mature, focused and driven budding scientist.

Abigail has decided to attend The College of New Jersey in the Fall of 2019, but we anxiously await the Valedictorian Address from this young scholar, knowing that the insight and guidance that she will lead her graduating class will be as purposeful and inspirational as she. Abigail will undoubtedly be a part of a great scientific discovery or cure in her journey to helping the world. We wish her congratulations and success!
