NBC takes third at Kingsway Tournament
COLLINGSWOOD >> Gearing up for a big dual match at Hopewell Valley Tuesday morning, the Northern Burlington wrestling team finished third at the 15-team Colling- swood Tournament on Friday.
Defending Group IV Group state champion Kingsway was the champ, followed by a South Brunswick team that finished one point ahead of Northern Burlington. Princeton was 11th, Bordentown was 12th and Nottingham came in 13th.
Taking home gold for Northern Burlington was Garrett Totten, who posted a technical fall in his 113-pound final. NBC also got seconds from Jarred Rosta (132) and Pat Evanko (220).
Other champions were Princeton’s Aaron Munford (132) and Bordentown’s Colman Ermi (120). Munford posted a 6-0 win over Rosta in his final, while Ermi was a 7-4 winner over Joey Miranda of Kingsway.
Improved Princeton also got a second from James Romaine at 152
