TCA looks sharp in rout of Trinity Hall

HAMILTON >> The Trenton Catholic Academy girls basketball team tightened its defense and sharpened its offense in its week between games, which was bad news for visiting Trinity Hall in the opening round of the ESCIT.

The Mikes went on to win 7818 and advance to Sunday’s 4 p.m. championsh­ip game at the Iron Palace against Franklin, a 67-32 winner over Mater Dei in the other game.

Maniya Custis led five TCA players in double figures with 16 points. Giana Hernandez-Boulden followed with 13 points. Zoe Brooks had 12, while Wisdom Maddox and Aalyah Del Rosario chipped in 11 points apiece.
