Series History: Siena leads, 33-18 KenPom Rank: Rider (189); Siena (171) KenPom Says: Siena 78, Rider 73 Scouting Rider: Winners in five of the last six, the Broncs are back on top of the MAAC, but how long they stay there depends on if they can find a way past a

Siena team unbeaten at home. Coach Kevin Baggett pumped in crowd noise during practice this week to get his team to work on focusing through the noise. Rider will almost certainly need another big Dimencio Vaughn game — he had 27 points and made 10-of-11 free throws in a win. Stevie Jordan had 23 points in the first meeting, but hasn’t matched that output since. He did get a nice rest by his standards, having to only play 27 minutes last time out against Niagara.

Scouting Siena: You can make an argument the Saints are the most talented team in the league, so it’s a bit baffling that they would be 1-10 on the road. At home, they are dynamic, with a perfect 10-0 record. Sophomore guard Jalen Pickett (15.2 points, 5.3 assists) pulls all the strings, but the supporting cast is also strong. Elijah Burns, a 6-8, 236-pound forward, is a handful inside, averaging 15.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and shooting a league-best 65.2%. According to KenPom, Burns leads the nation in true shooting percentage and is third in effective field goal percentage (of course almost all of his shots come from in the paint). Manny Camper averages a double-double with 13.7 points and 10.4 rebounds.
