Who’s laughing?

Ed Note: You make me laugh! Someone wrote in about the senseless death of George Floyd saying that President Trump should ensure and monitor proper and swift justice. Your response was that Trump doesn’t care if justice is served in this case and you’re not even sure he knows why people are rioting and he criticizes them for rioting. That was a ridiculous thing to say. So what, Trump should praise them for destroying businesses, burning churches, destroying police cars, burning down police stations and ruining people’s livelihoods. So now we, the hardworking taxpayers will have to pay to have all this damage repaired. You will never convince me that these hoodlums are rioting, it’s not protesting, in the name of George Floyd. It’s just an excuse for them to rob and destroy knowing full well that the police will do nothing and they will get away with it. The Mayors and Governors should have taken swift action and should have stopped it by any means necessary the second it started. But what did they do? Told the police to stand down. What about serve and protect the innocent people? Let me see them come to your house that

I’m sure you worked very hard for and rob your things or set your house on fire. I bet your attitude would change. These poor businesses and churches had nothing to do with what happened to Mr. Floyd so you tell me what their reasoning is. I don’t know of one person who thought that was happened to George Floyd was warranted or acceptable. It may be a small number of people doing this compared to the peaceful protestors, but they caused a lot of innocent people a lot of expense, heartache and in some cases their businesses altogether They completely disrespected Mr. Floyd’s memory.

If you want to talk about somebody not caring, point your finger at the Mayors and Governors of the cities and states that allowed it to go this far.

The looters and rioters should be dealt with. The protesters are expressing their views, legally. Probably would’ve helped if Trump praised them. This isn’t difficult.
