Ethel A. Myles, 92, of Hamilton Square, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home. Born in her family home in Stratford, NJ, she was a 65-year resident of Hamilton Square. A founding member of St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square, Ethel was a generous and giving woman who lived a simple life centered around her faith and family. She was an avid reader and in her younger years she enjoyed camping and gardening; more recently she loved traveling with her family. In addition to taking care of her family and raising her four children, Ethel worked for several area businesses including Jean’s Ceramic Studio, owned by her sister.

Daughter of the late Charles and Delma O’Brien, she was predecease­d in 2001 by her husband, David Myles Sr. Ethel is survived by her four children and their spouses, David and Lori Myles, Virginia “Ginger” Martin, Cynthia and Jon Lambert, and Michelle and Vincent Moreno; her grandchild­ren, Kara Hensey, Meaghan Stanton and her husband, Brandon Johnson, Lauren Myles, Myles Costabile, and Quinn Costabile; her great grandchild­ren, Stella, Henry, and Merin Hensey and Cole Johnson as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Thursday, January 28th at St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square. A visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow the Mass in St. John’s Cemetery, Allentown.

Memorial contributi­ons may be made in Ethel’s name to the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n.
