Scouting Princeton: There could be offensive fireworks out on Long Island Wednesday night. The Tigers average 79.1 points per game, while the Pride score 77.4. Both teams average 11 made 3s per game. Princeton is coming off a performance in which three players — Ethan

Wright (29), Tosan Evbuomwan (19) and Ryan Langborg (18) — all had career highs.

Scouting Hofstra: The Pride took apart the Tigers two seasons ago at Jadwin, but Jalen Ray (14 points) and Caleb Burgess are the only holdovers from that Hofstra team. The CAA school is under the direction of all-time great Speedy Claxton, who is in his first season and has the Pride off to a 3-4start, although those losses have come against excellent competition. Five players are averaging in double figures, including Ray (15.2 points, 44.2% from 3). Garden State hoops fans may also recognize the names of NJIT transfer Zach Cooks (18.7 points) and Aaron Estrada (12.3 poitns) an Oregon transfer by way of Saint Peter’s.
