The Jammer family is here for your family

- Advertorial

You hear it said time after time, “Family owned and operated.” Four simple words, yet they pack a punch:

Legacy; Tradition;

Ethics;

Hard work; Respect; Leadership; Trend-setter; Relatable;

The American Dream. All these positive traits and attributes go into every family-owned business. It is no wonder why according to the U.S. Bureau of the Census, about ninety percent of American businesses are familyowned or operated.

Jammer Doors and Windows is that family owned and operated business, established 102 years ago!

It has been over a century since Louis and Laura Jammer opened their weather-stripping business in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Four generations later, the Jammer family, which markets a variety of entry doors, garage doors, and replacement windows, is poised to open a new state-of-the-art showroom on Route 1 in Lawrenceville, NJ.

“My great-grandparents started a weatherstripping business that installed windows and door screens in 1920, which incidentally, is one year before the first overhead garage doors were ever sold,” said company Vice President, Louis Jammer IV. “They later branched out into the overhead door business and then into additional door and window styles. Through the Great Depression, World War II and all the economic upheavals, including the Covid-19

Pandemic, our family has been able to succeed by offering our customers a blend of topquality products and unmatched personal service.”

Even two years since the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we are seeing unprecedented demand in the home improvement industry in our local tri-state area, focusing mainly on the suburban areas. These past two years, the garage has become the answer to many kinds of pandemic related problems: it’s the remote office; the home gym; the one-room schoolhouse. The pandemic had effectively shifted the evolution of the garage from a detached building used as storage to a space inseparable from the home itself. While the pandemic has changed our use of the garage, unfortunately the pandemic also increased the demand for steel.

While the pandemic has changed our use of the garage, unfortunately the pandemic also increased the demand for steel. Garage doors have a more complex supply chain than windows, HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures. Many of the garage door components are made from steel, which has been in short supply and subject to an increase in price.

Louis Jammer IV assures that, “while the increasing price in steel has caused our number one seller of steel garage doors to rise over 200%, Jammer Doors prides itself on a ‘no pressure’ sales approach.”

Jammer Doors proudly sells the ProVia line of entry doors, storm doors, sliding patio doors and specialty windows. In addition, Jammer’s Garage Door Division offer Raynor, Fimbel, CHI, and Artisan doors along with a comprehensive selection of garage door openers. “Even with the supply chain shortage many industries are facing, Jammer Doors will do its absolute best to work with customers keeping them up-to-date on every phase of the ordering process and being as transparent as possible to ensure the customer has all the relevant information they need to make an insightful decision when ordering their garage door,” said Louis Jammer IV. “We are not here to sell your next door, we are here to sell you your forever door,” Jammer adds.

And since Jammer Doors is in the business of ensuring that their customers are satisfied in the product they are ordering, they are in the process of redesigning a state-ofthe-art 4,800 square-foot showroom to give customers the chance to experience the products in an interactive environment. The showroom, which is currently under construction, for a slated projected October 2022 opening, will feature displays of entry doors, patio doors, garage doors and vinyl replacement window displays. “Since some of our doors represents a substantial investment, it is important for our customers to have the opportunity to touch and feel the products and see them displayed in a clean, modern environment.” Jammer also noted that fair pricing is another hallmark of his family’s business. When clients meet with a Jammer Doors representative, they will receive a straightforward, accurate quote that isn’t complicated by tricky gimmicks and come-ons.

“For four generations, our family name has stood for the best service. We never settle for second best and customer satisfaction is our top priority,” Jammer adds.

Jammer Doors showrooms are located at 2850 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville, N.J., (609) 8830900 and 10 Main Street in Yardley, Pennsylvania (by appointment). For additional information visit us at www.jammerdoors. com.
