SERIES HISTORY: First meeting. While this game counts for the Broncs, it’s an exhibition for the Division III Macs and does not count against their overall record.

KENPOM RANK: Rider 229; Immaculata N/A

SCOUTING RIDER: The Broncs finished second in the MAAC last season before another premature exit at the conference tournament. All-League point guard Dwight Murray Jr. graduated, but returning are MAAC Preseason Player of the Year Mervin James (12.9 points, 6.8 rebounds), guards Allen Powell (10.4points) and Corey McKeithan (14.7minutes in 30appearances) and center Tariq Ingraham (6.4points, 3.5rebounds). Coach Kevin Baggett has also added key newcomers in UMass transfer T.J. Weeks, junior college transfer JT Langston Jr. and freshman guard DJ Dudley Jr. The 6-4 guard made a good first impression with 16points in the team’s exhibition game. If the Broncs can navigate a treacherous non-conference schedule and keep their head above water this has the potential for an excellent season in Lawrenceville. Baggett needs 11wins to pass Thomas Leyden (187) and move into second in program history behind only record-holder John Carpenter (292).

SCOUTING IMMACULATA: The Mighty Macs went 10-17 last season and were picked to finish fourth in the Atlantic East Conference. Immaculata had six players who averaged at least eight points per game last year and do return top scorer Tyler Tillery (10.5points, 4.4 rebounds).
