-

Norman R. Leip, 83, of Yardville, NJ, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Born and raised in Trenton, Norman worked for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 9 for over 50 years. He took great pride in finishing his career with the establishment that he started his apprenticeship with.

In his younger years, you could find Norman drag racing on S. Broad Street or enjoying motorcycle rides. He loved spending his spare time rebuilding classic cars, completing 3 start to finish. It was his passion second only to the love he had for his wife and his family. A dog lover, he doted on his beloved Shih Tzus. Norman was a proud father, loving grandfather, and attentive great-grandfather. His presence will be sorely missed.

Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Evelyn Leip and his sister, Linda Bailey; Norman is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nora B. Leip; his memory will be carried on by his children and their spouses, Roger and Kimberly Leip, Deb and Bill Runyon, Barbara and John Carmignani, Nora FallonLeip, Steven and Dawn Leip, and Crystal Green-Leip; his 14 grandchildren; his 11 great-grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Dees; his brothers-in-law, Porkey Letts and Harry Letts; his sister-in-law, Barbara D’Artiglio; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home 3795 Nottingham Way Hamilton Square, NJ.

A Public Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home. Cremation Services will be held privately.
