The shorter-than-usual report is due to The Cambrian’s early deadlines during the holidays. Entries that don’t produce reports or arrests can range from assisting a citizen, checking an open door and traffic stops to assisting another agency, probation checks, foot patrols, checking suspicious subjects or vehicles, case followups, responding to audible alarms and traffic or pedestrian stops. This week’s reports include: Wednesday, Dec. 19 1000 block of Main Street, 2:08 p.m.: Petty theft. Thursday, Dec. 20 1000 block of Main Street, 10:19 a.m.: 37-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public. OBITUARY POLICY Cambrian obituaries are charged by the line and must be prepaid.
