Rams: Kicker Greg Zuerlein appears on the Rams’ first injury report before the Super Bowl. Zuerlein is listed with a foot injury on the report distributed by the Rams.
The right-footed Zuerlein was spotted with a walking boot on his left foot Monday after the Rams returned from New Orleans, but coach Sean McVay said the Rams didn’t pick up any serious injuries while winning the NFC championship game. Jets: The Jets hired former Dolphins assistant Dowell Loggains as their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Loggains is reunited with Jets coach Adam Gase after serving as Miami’s offensive coordinator last season under the then-Dolphins head coach.
Saints: Cornerback P.J. Williams was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, among other traffic charges.
Police spokesman Aaron Looney told news outlets that the 25-year-old Williams was arrested early Wednesday after an officer said he was driving at 80 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Looney said Williams refused a breath test. He was also charged with speeding, improper lane usage, careless driving and failure to use a turn signal. It was not known if he has an attorney yet.
