Cowboys: Dallas is hopeful Randy Gregory will return for the 2019 season and remain steadfast in its support.
They recently proved the latter by re-structuring Gregory’s 2019 contract and giving him an extension through 2019.
Gregory, who does not get paid while under suspension, got $310,000 of his $955,218 base salary for 2019 into an upfront signing bonus. He will get a bargain-basement $ 735,000 in 2020.
Gregory would have been a restricted free agent in 2020. The lowest tender was $2.025 million. Broncos: Chris Harris Jr. skipped the start of the Denver Broncos offseason program Tuesday as he angles for a new contract.
One of the NFL’s most versatile defensive backs, Harris is due $ 7.8 million next season in the final year of his team friendly, five-year, $42.5 million contract that he signed in 2015.
Cardinals: Arizona signed cornerback Tramaine Brock to a one-year contract.
Jaguars: Jacksonville signed former Houston Texans running back Alfred Blue to a one-year contract after bringing him in for a visit on Monday.
