Here are the winners from San Miguel’s Sagebrush Days parade
The Sagebrush Days Committee sends a great big “thank you” to all who contributed to and participated in making the event a big success this year! It was great fun.
Here’s a look at the parade winners: Best Float, 1947 Ford Woody “San Miguel or Bust”; Best Single Vehicle, 1949 Chevy Truck; Best Vehicle Group, Camp Roberts Museum; Best Walking Group, Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West “Big California Parade Flag”; Best Mounted Group, Vaqueros de la Region. Special Recognition went to the 1950s Willys Pickup.

ADVISORY COUNCIL NEEDS VOLUNTEERS
The San Miguel Advisory Council is seeking nominations to the committee.
The council is advisory to the County Board of Supervisors and the Planning Department for the San Miguel area. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Community Building in the park behind the Library.
If you are interested, please attend this month’s meeting (see Calendar) and fill out the papers. If there are candidates, elections will be held at the June meeting.
May 10: 6:30 p.m. Bingo and munchies at San Miguel Seniors, 601 12th St. East.
May 22: 7 p.m. San Miguel Advisory Council at Community Building in the park.
