CJ McCol­lum scored 37 points and the vis­it­ing Port­land Trail Blaz­ers over­came a 17-point firsthalf deficit to beat the Den­ver Nuggets 100-96 on Sun­day to ad­vance to the Western Con­fer­ence Fi­nals for the first time since 2000.

Evan Turner, who scored just four points in the first six games of the se­ries, added 14 points, in­clud­ing 10 in the fourth quar­ter. The Trail Blaz­ers ad­vanced to face the twotime de­fend­ing NBA cham­pion Golden State Warriors, be­gin­ning Tuesday night in Oak­land.

Mav­er­icks: For­ward Kristaps Porzingis was apparently in­volved in some sort of phys­i­cal al­ter­ca­tion in Latvia re­cently.

A video posted on Twit­ter shows Porzingis with a bloody cut above his right eye and ob­vi­ously ag­i­tated.

Porzingis, who was traded to the Mav­er­icks from the Knicks on Feb. 1, has been under in­ves­ti­ga­tion for an al­leged sex­ual as­sault in New York.
