NCAA men’s tournament projections for Alabama

- Nick Kelly

Alabama basketball hasn't seen its spot change much when it comes to the latest NCAA Tournament projections and bracketology.

The Crimson Tide has fairly consistently been predicted as a No. 3 seed, and a blowout loss to Kentucky in Lexington this past weekend didn't change that. Unless something drastic happens, Alabama is on track to be a No. 3 seed for March Madness in a few weeks, if bracketology for the past month is any indication. At best, the Crimson Tide could maybe finish as a No. 2 seed.

As Alabama looks to close out the regular season strong, here are the latest bracketology projections as of Tuesday,

Feb. 27.

ESPN: 3 seed (Memphis)

Projection date: Feb. 27

Joe Lunardi's latest bracketology projections haven't changed any for Alabama much the past few weeks. The Crimson Tide once again is projected as a No. 3 seed playing in Memphis. In his latest prediction, Lunardi has Alabama facing No. 14 seed High Point as part of the Midwest region. The winner would play No. 6 seed Dayton or No. 11 seed Seton Hall/Virginia.

CBS Sports: 3 seed (Charlotte)

Projection date: Feb. 27

In Jerry Palm's projection as of Tuesday, Alabama remains a No. 3 seed playing in Charlotte. The first round game would be against No. 14 seed Vermont with a matchup against either No. 6 seed Texas Tech or No. 11 Indiana State in the second round.

USA TODAY: 3 seed (Brooklyn)

Projection date: Feb. 27

The USA TODAY Sports crew projects Alabama as a No. 3 seed facing No. 14 High Point but as part of the South region, playing the first two rounds in Brooklyn. The Crimson Tide would then face No. 6 seed Clemson or No. 11 seed Nebraska/Gonzaga.
