The Great War History, 8 p.m. ● New Series
This four-hour cinematic documentary, airing in two-hour installments tonight and tomorrow night, focuses on America’s involvement in World War I during the critical year of 1918. It weaves together the stories of Gen. John J. Pershing, leader of the American Expeditionary Forces; Michael B. Ellis, a young man fighting with the Army’s soon-to-belegendary 1st Infantry Division; and a brave group of African American soldiers who became known as the Harlem Hellfighters to tell a larger, more complex tale of how the United States joined World War I as an underdog and came out the leader of the 20th century.
American Ninja Warrior: Couples’ Championship
Twelve elite ninja couples compete together on the world’s most challenging obstacle course, with the winners taking home the title of this year’s couples’ champion. Season 16 of
premieres next Monday.
Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter Investigation Discovery, beginning at 9 p.m.; streams on Max ● New Series
This four-part docuseries (airing in two-hour installments tonight and tomorrow evening) delves into the lives of Nick and Aaron Carter, from their outsized fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s to their headline-making struggles in recent years. The series explores the accusations of sexual assault made against Nick by three women, while also looking at Aaron’s battles with mental health issues and substance abuse – and the rift that occurred after Aaron decided to support his brother’s accusers.
Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted Nat Geo, beginning at 9 p.m. ● Season Premiere
Gordon Ramsay is back for Season 4 of his series in which he seeks culinary inspiration by trekking around the globe to learn about the cultures, dishes and flavors unique to each location. The season kicks off with back-to-back hourlong episodes tonight. First, Ramsay visits the Florida Keys, going to extremes to gather the finest ingredients and recipes of the Conch Republic. Then, Ramsay traverses land and sea in search of the culinary wonders of Ireland’s stunning Connemara coast.
Seeking Sister Wife TLC, 9 p.m. ● Season Finale
