The following items were compiled from reports prepared by the Willits Police Department. DRUNK: Officers responded to a call about a drunk person in the 1500 block of S. Main Street on Aug. 31 at 12:20 a.m.

TRAFFIC: Officers responded to a call about a lit cigarette tossed from a vehicle in the 1300 block of S. Main Street on Aug. 31 at 9:52 a.m.

THEFT: Officers responded to a call about a theft of marijuana in the 800 block of S. Main Street on Sept. 1 at 3:33 p.m.

CORONER: Officers responded to a call for a coroner in the 1400 block of Baechtel Road on Sept. 2 at 4:18 a.m.

FRAUD: Officers responded to a call about fraud in the 300 block of Creekside Drive on Sept. 3 at 2:10 p.m.

CITIZEN ASSIST: Officers responded to a call to assist a citizen with a gate malfunctio­n in the 300 block of Robert Drive on Sept. 4 at 9:04 a.m. HARASSMENT: Officers responded to a call about harassment in the 10 block of S. Main Street on Sept. 4 at 12:31 p.m. THREATS: Officers responded to a call about threats in the 100 block of N. Main Street on Sept. 4 at 2:51 p.m.

ANIMAL: Officers responded to a call about an aggressive dog in the 40 block of Hazel Street on Sept. 5 at 6:54 p.m. DISTURBANC­E: Officers responded to a call about a disturbanc­e of loud music in the area of Locust and Holly streets on Sept. 6 at 8:35 p.m.

DUI: Officers responded to a call about a possible drunk driver in the area of Wood and S. Main streets on Sept. 7 at 9:28 p.m. THEFT: Officers responded to a call about a theft in the 1500 block of S. Main Street on Sept. 8 at 6:17 a.m.

DRUNK: Officers responded to a call about a drunk person in the 80 block of E. Commercial Street on Sept. 9 at 11:58 a.m. DISTURBANC­E/ASSAULT: Officers responded to a call about a verbal disturbanc­e at 5:13 p.m. and then a call about an assault at 8:09 p.m. Both occurred in the 1200 block of Locust Street.

THEFT: Officers responded to a call about a theft in the 1700 block of S. Main Street on Sept. 10 at 9:13 a.m.

STOP: Officers performed a pedestrian stop in the are of Walnut and S. Main streets on Sept. 11 at 2:27 a.m.

SUSPICIOUS: Officers responded to a call about a suspicious subject in the 300 block of North Street on Sept. 11 at 7:27 p.m. DUI: Officers responded to a call about a drunk driver in the 800 block of S. Main

Street on Sept. 12 at 1:40 a.m.

ASSIST: Officers responded to a call for an agency assist in the 24000 block of Birch Circle on Sept. 12 at 6:20 a.m.

UTILITY: Officers responded to a call about a water leak in the 21000 block of Locust Street on Sept. 12 at 1:54 p.m.

JUVENILE: Officers responded to a call about a juvenile problem in the 20 block of Spruce Street on Sept. 12 at 7:38 p.m. SUSPICIOUS: Officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area of North Street and W. Mendocino Avenue on Sept. 12 at 8:41 p.m. BURGLARY: Officers responded to a call about a burglary in the 400 block of Coast Street on Sept. 13 at 2:19 a.m.

Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact The Willits News once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper. The Willits News makes no exceptions.
