Vaccine second dose clinic set
Event for those who received Pfizer vaccine Jan. 6-7
The County of Mendocino has announced a second-vaccination event, to be held on Wednesday, for those who received their first Pfizer vaccine doses on Jan. 6 or 7.
This event is only for those who were vaccinated on those days at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds and are awaiting their second dose.
“If you received your first Pfizer vaccine on either of these days, please plan on receiving your second dose on Wednesday, January 27th from 9 to 4 p.m. by appointment at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds,” says Mendocino County Vaccine Coordinator Adrienne Thompson.
This event is not open to the public. It is specifically for those who were vaccinated by Mendocino County Public Health at the Fairgrounds. Those scheduled for their second dose must bring identification and their vaccination card.
To make an appointment for the vaccination event, visit the county’s Vaccine Scheduling Page. The page is for this event only. Here is the direct link: https:// www.mendocinocounty.org/community/novel-coronavirus/covid19-vaccinations
“From today forward, all vaccinations will be scheduled by appointment only,” says Thompson. “For those who do not have internet access, please contact our Covid-19 call center or email our operations center for appointments. Thank you to everyone for your patience and tolerance as we continue to refine our call center response and communications.” The county’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages are the best way to keep updated about vaccinations and all issues related to Covid-19.
