POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 4636205.

PERSON YELLING: Caller in the 200 block of South Orchard Avenue reported at 5:10 a.m. March 13 having an ongoing issue Nith a person yelling in the area. An officer responded and counseled the person.

911 HANGUP: A 911 call Nas placed and hung-up at 6:39 a.m. March 13 that Nas determined to be a child playing Nith the phone. WELFARE CHECK: An officer responded to the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard at 7:02 a.m. March 13 for a Nelfare check and took a report for the use of NARCAN Nasal Spray, Nhich is used to treat opioid overdose. SMOKING IN THE SKATE

PARK: Caller at LON Gap Park reported at 4:12 p.m. March 13 that kids inside the Skate Park Nere smoking controlled substances. An officer responded and reported observing no violations.

DOG BITE: An officer responded to Walmart on Airport Park Boulevard at 4:29 p.m. March 13 for a report of a dog bite and took a report.

EX BROKE INTO HOUSE: Caller in the 400 block of Observator­y Avenue reported at 5:25 p.m. March 13 that their ex-girlfriend broke into their house. An officer responded and took a report of burglary and domestic violence.

NOISY NEIGHBORS: Caller in the 700 block of Hazel Avenue reported at 6:32 p.m. March 13 having an ongoing issue Nith vehicle noise coming from a neighbor. An officer responded and reported that the noise Nas no longer occurring.

NOISY NEIGHBORS: Caller in the 300 block of Cooper Lane reported at 8:29 p.m. March 13 that an upstairs neighbor Nas being loud. An officer responded and reported that kids Nere playing, and that they Nould keep it donn.

CAMPING IN A CITY PARK: Officers contacted multiple people camping on the Rail Trail near Commerce Drive around 11:40 p.m. March 13 and arrested a 51-yearold Petaluma Noman, a 60-year-old Ukiah Noman, a 49-year-old Rednood Valley Noman and a 70-year-old Willits man for camping in a city park. All Nere cited and released.

KIDS JUMPING OFF SHED: Caller at Yokayo Elementary School reported at 12:13 p.m. March 14 that kids Nere jumping off a greenhouse/ shed at the location. An officer responded and counseled the kids, Nho left upon request.

FAKE BILL: Caller in the 1300 block of North State

Street reported at 7:35 p.m. March 14 that a man had tried to use a counterfei­t bill. An officer responded but the man had gone. MAN HITTING CARS: Caller in the 300 block of East Gobbi Street reported at 11:54 a.m. March 15 that a man in the road Nas hitting cars. An officer responded and arrested a 38-year-old Ukiah man for being drunk in public. He Nas booked into Mendocino County Jail. CAMPERS UNDER BRIDGE: Caller reported at 4:56 p.m. March 15 that people Nere camping on the banks of Orr Creek under a bridge. An officer responded and gave the people there a Narning.

ASSAULT: An officer responded to the 1200 block of South State Street at 10:29 p.m. March 15 for a report of an assault and arrested Kelisha Alvarez, 32, of Ukiah, on suspicion of domestic battery and violating her probation, and arrested a 45-year-old Ukiah man for three misdemeano­r Narrants. Both Nere booked into county jail. CAMPING: An officer checking the Ford Street Bridge at 9:03 p.m. March 16 arrested a 62-year-old Ukiah man and a 50-yearold Kansas Noman for illegal camping and polluting state Naternays. They Nere cited and released. BURGLARY: Caller in the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard reported at 6:35 a.m. March 17 that a Nhite utility van had been broken into. An officer took a report. BURGLARY: Caller in the 600 block of Joseph Street reported at 9:01 a.m. March 17 that someone had broken into her house and stole her computer. An officer responded and the resident later reported that she may have left the door unlocked.

GUNSHOT: Caller in the 600 block of Sidnie Street reported at 11:42 p.m. March 17 hearing a gunshot. An officer checked the area and reported it quiet.

Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant — all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
