SHERIFF'S REPORTS The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office:

RAPE: Shane E. Britton, 29, of Covelo, was booked at Mendocino County Jail on Feb. 2 on suspicion of rape, burglary, false imprisonme­nt, witness intimidati­on and assault with intent to rape. He was held under $1 million bail. He was arrested by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. DUI AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Luis A. Canulavila, 46, of Fort Bragg, was booked at the county jail Feb. 1 on suspicion of driving under the influence, criminal threats and domestic violence. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.

DUI: Akasha Clearwater, 38, of Calaveras County, was booked at county jail Jan. 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence and of resisting an officer. She was arrested by the Fort Bragg Police Department.

DRUG POSSESSION: Misty A. Czyzewski, 35, of Willits, was booked at county jail Jan. 31 on suspicion of possessing controlled substances, drug parapherna­lia, and possessing a controlled substance while being armed with a loaded weapon. She was arrested by the Willits Police Department. DRUGS and WEAPONS POSSESSION: Corey C. Garmin, 39, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Jan.

30 on suspicion of illegally possessing a concealed and loaded weapon, ammunition and tear gas, and of possessing a controlled substance while being armed with a loaded weapon. She was arrested by the WPD. DUI: Sophia F. Gonzalez, 18, of Lakeport, was booked at county jail Feb. 1on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was arrested by the CHP.

ELDER/DEPENDENT ADULT ABUSE: Shelby D. Hammond, 41, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Feb. 1on suspicion of abuse of an elder or dependent adult and violating a protection order. She was arrested by the WPD.

ASSAULT: Staci L. Ilar, 33, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 1on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery. She was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.

GRAND THEFT: Erik D. Kotila, 47, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Feb. 2 on suspicion of grand theft, conspiracy and felony vandalism. He was arrested by the MCSO.

DUI: Marco Martinezro­driguez, 22, of Santa Rosa, was booked at county jail Jan. 30 on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a license that had been suspended due to a prior DUI arrest. He was arrested by the CHP.

DUI: Emily A. Rodriguez, 39, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail Jan. 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was arrested by the CHP.

DUI: Luis D. Rojas-erostico, 22, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 1on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was arrested by the UPD.

GRAND THEFT: Jonathon A. Sanchez, 37, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Feb. 2on suspicion of grand theft, conspiracy and felony vandalism. He was arrested by the MCSO.

CHILD CRUELTY: Maya R. Winebrenne­r, 32, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 2 on suspicion of cruelty to a child, domestic violence, petty theft, and violating a protection order. She was arrested by the MCSO.

• Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
