Savings Bank remodeling Willits Banking Center

- The Ukiah Daily Journal

On March 31, the Savings Bank's Willits Banking Center will be closed for one day as the transformation of the lobby begins. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 3.

The walk-up and driveup ATMS are available 24 hours a day, and the driveup Video Teller is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-thursday and until 6 p.m. on Fridays. Hours of operation in the lobby will remain unchanged during the remodel.

“We are proud of the transformation that will soon be underway and are excited about the new space we're creating,” said Denise Roumbanis, Savings Bank chief operations officer. “We feel it will be a more comfortable and efficient environment for customers and employees and will allow us to provide a new brand of personalized service by spending more time focusing exclusively on our customers' needs.”

The new lobby will feature the removal of the physical barriers between staff and their customers, creating a more open, comfortable space to do business in. Additionally, routine operational processes are being moved to the back office to support an enhanced customer service experience.

“The Willits Banking Center staff are excited about the updates that will be made to the Banking Center. The lobby will have a fresh new look and we'll provide the same friendly service everyone is used to,” said Chelsea Evans, Willits Banking Center manager. “We want to thank our customers for their business and ask that they please excuse the mess while we're open during construction. We can't wait to welcome everyone in when the transformation is complete.”

Savings Bank of Mendocino County is the only locally chartered bank and is a strong independent financial institution which provides Mendocino and Lake Counties the dependability of a local community bank.
