Kiwanis Club presenting community Crab Feed Dinner

The Kiwanis Club of Ukiah is having a delicious drive-through Crab Feed Dinner on March 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sports Attic 2 (247 E. Perkins St. in Ukiah).

Dinners will include Dungeness crab, clam chowder, coleslaw, rolls and dessert. All proceeds will be put back into the community by Kiwanis to help worthy and needy causes. If you would like to support your community please consider buying tickets. This is Kiwanis' only fundraiser each year.

Dinners are $120 for two and $60 for a single dinner. Raffle tickets for a two-night stay for two at the Seagull Inn B & B in Mendocino are $5 or six for $25. Kiwanis has helped the Ukiah area with volunteer hours and financial donations continuously since 1948. Each year we assist about 25 different local entities. We are part of Kiwanis International, present in over 80 countries. Both internationally and locally, Kiwanis has a particular focus on helping youth. We are nondenominational and nonjudgmental, welcoming individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds.

You are welcome to visit any of our meetings.

We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at noon in the large back room at Slam Dunk Pizza (720 N. State St.) to enjoy lunch together, conduct club business, and hear an interesting speaker — all in a very relaxed atmosphere. In order to see what our meetings are like without any obligation, your first two lunches are free — so come and see what a great community service club you could be a part of.
