SHERIFF’S REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:

ASSAULT: Skyler B. Dausman, 40, of Ukiah, was booked at Mendocino County Jail May 17on suspicion of assault with a firearm and of committing offenses while out on bail. He was arrested by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.

ILLEGAL WEAPONS:

Sylvester C. Joaquin Jr., 58, of Covelo, was booked at county jail May 17on suspicion of illegal weapons and ammunition possession, possession of a controlled substance and of failure to appear. He was arrested by the MCSO.

DUI: Miguel A. Plascencia­sbarajas, 28, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail May 17 on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without a license and violating his probation. He was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.

ASSAULT: Brandon L. Mcclintic, 45, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail May 18 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious injury, carrying a concealed weapon and failure to appear. He was arrested by the MCSO. DUI: Jason A. Pitt, 50, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail May 18on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the Fort Bragg Police Department.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

John D. Strauss-shealor, 23, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail May 18on suspicion of domestic violence. He was arrested by the FBPD.

ASSAULT: Howard L. Whipple Jr., 51, of Covelo, was booked at county jail May 18on suspicion of assault with a firearm and criminal threats. He was arrested by the MCSO.

THREATS: Charles R. Bowen, 28, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail May 19 on suspicion of criminal threats, possession of drug parapherna­lia and of a controlled substance and of violating his probation. He was arrested by the FBPD. VANDALISM: Jose L. Rodriguez, 37, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail

May 19 on suspicion of felony vandalism. He was arrested by the UPD.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Annette C. Williams, 35, of Hopland, was booked at county jail May 19 on suspicion of domestic violence and cruelty to a child. She was arrested by the MCSO.

• Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported.

Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper. The Daily Journal makes no exceptions.
