age 70 of Willits, CA passed away on February 1. He was born to Leroy and Janice Swango in Mill Valley, CA in 1953. He was a proud Marine Corp veteran with a multitude of entertaining stories about his life in The Corps. Mike was devoted to his kitties, Lucy and Evie, and loved running, reading, and maintaining his stunning Harley and his hard-working Ford truck. Mike is survived by daughters Sarah and Katherine Swango, sisters Rhonda Ready, Debra Swango and brother Jim Swango, girlfriend of several years Kathy Sears, nephews Scott Jensen and Corey Corbin, nieces Shannon Bateman and Tara and Samantha Swango, and friend and former wife Natalie Swango. Mike was predeceased by his parents and his beloved kitty of many years, Bobbie Sue. In a final act of generosity, Mike was able to help several individuals live longer, healthier lives with his gifts as a registered organ donor. There will be a service held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on March 2 at 2:00pm. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Mike’s name. Mike will be cremated.
