The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:00 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman slept outside the post office on South Washington Street.

9:06 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — The bed of a man’s pick up truck was loaded down with items.

10:19 a.m., threats — A man approached a car in the parking lot of a Mono Way business and attempted to open the door and threatened to shoot the person inside.

11:11 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man on Southgate Drive said a woman was screaming his name from a home down the road.

11:22 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A group of men at a business on Sanguinett­i Road were overheard stating they were going to harm any black people that came to the area.

11:41 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A garbage can full of glass bottles was in the parking structure of a North Washington Street business.

1:08 p.m., vandalism — “George Floyd” was spray painted in yellow paint on asphalt at South Stewart and East Church Street.

2:02 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — People argued on School Street.

4:50 p.m., public intoxicati­on — A man was drunk in front of a South Washington Street business.

8:51 p.m., theft — A man on West Stockton Street said two juveniles with long boards snatched $20 out of his hand and took off running.

9:50 pm., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An argument was reported at a business on South Washington Street.

7:25 a.m., Tuolumne — A fight was reported on Carter Street.

8:10 a.m., Sonora — Theft was reported on Fleetwood Road.

8:26 a.m., Sonora — Vandalism was reported on Sleepy Hollow Road.

8:30 a.m., Jamestown — Harassment was reported on Jim Brady Road.

9:23 a.m., Jamestown — Burglary was reported on Nelson Road.

11:17 a.m., Jamestown — Squatters stole water from a well pump on Nelson Road.

1:03 p.m., Sonora — Dogs on Oxbow Lane North barked at a three-foot-long Gila monster as it walked along a fence line.

3:26 p.m., Twain Harte — A neighbor on Middle Camp Sugarpine Road revved a loud motor and sounded a large horn at night.

4:49 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman spilled gas as she carried a gas can along Carter Street.

6:33 p.m., Jamestown — Three pick-up trucks with Georgia license plates pulled into a business on Highway 108 and five men with guns in holsters got out and gassed up before heading to Sonora.

8:08 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on Ontario Drive said a man walked slowly by his house.

9:06 p.m., Columbia — An argument was reported on State Street.

10:16 p.m., Jamestown — A fight was reported at a business on Willow Street.

11:07 p.m., Tuolumne — A fight was reported on Skyline Road.

11:51 p.m., Tuolumne — Theft was reported at a Tuolumne Road North business.

12:44 a.m., Twain Harte — The neighbor of a Middle Camp Sugarpine Road resident played loud music and made lots of noise on their deck.

1:49 a.m., Twain Harte — The neighbors of an East Avenue residence had a loud party.

10:13 a.m., Jamestown — An argument was reported at a business on Willow Street.

11:09 a.m., Sonora — Mail theft was reported on Longeway Road.

12:41 p.m., Sonora — Assault was reported at a business on Greenley Road.

6:09 p.m., Twain Harte — Fraud was reported on Towhee Lane.

8:58 p.m., Groveland — People physically fought in the parking lot of a Main Street business.

9:33 p.m., Long Barn — A light flashed white and red above the treeline on Sunrise Drive.

9:37 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle drove up and down El Canejo Way with its lights off.

10:12 p.m., Twain Harte — A man jumped from a vehicle and smashed the windows of a Tiffeni Drive business.

11:40 p.m., Sonora — A fight was reported on Nile River Drive.

12:01 a.m., Jamestown — Matthew Raymond Mahaffey, 43, of the 6100 block of Lea Court, Winton, was booked following an arrest on Chabroulli­n

Lane at Highway 108.

2:50 a.m., Sonora — Ian Michael Cicero, 22, of the 18500 block of Well House Drive was booked following an arrest on O’byrnes Ferry Road north of Pioria Flat Road.
