The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

12:20 p.m., animal complaints — A Mono Way man and his mother were chased on their own property by a white pit bull mix. The dog’s owner was advised to keep it on a leash.

1:02 p.m., animal complaints — A black-and-white pit bull and a black-and-brown hound dog were loose at the park on Woods Creek Drive.

1:22 p.m., animal complaints — A caller said she overheard a woman whose cat recently gave birth say she was going to take them and “dump them somewhere.”

7:54 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man wearing a hat and a green jacket refused to leave a South Washington Street business when asked, saying there was a woman outside who was going to have him killed.

10:01 a.m., Long Barn — An Ellmaro Drive West property was burglarize­d.

10:13 a.m., Sonora — Mail was found on Mount Brow Road.

10:39 a.m., Jamestown — An attempted burglary at Woods Creek Mobile Home Park resulted in damage to a building.

11:02 a.m., Jamestown — Mail was found on Jacksonvil­le Road near Algerine Road.

11:15 a.m., Columbia — An employee of a Broadway Street business said a customer threatened him and said he knows how to “fix” the employee.

11:21 a.m., Sonora — A Chukar Circle man said his brother punched him in the chest.

11:47 a.m., Sonora — A Callahan Road property was burglarize­d.

1:30 p.m., Sonora — An assault was reported on Kelso Court.

2:05 p.m., Jamestown — A Peppermint Circle resident said she returned home and her house, shed and gate all were open.

2:30 p.m., Sonora — A man driving a red Dodge diesel pickup tried to open the car door of another person in a parking lot at The Junction shopping center.

2:33 p.m., Tuolumne — A generator was stolen from a Canyonview Drive property.

5:21 p.m., Sonora — A fight occurred on Meadow Lark Drive.

5:55 p.m., Sonora — A woman walking in the Covey Circle area said she was followed by a man wearing dark clothes with a light blue blanket wrapped around him.

SATURDAY

4:09 a.m., Jamestown — A theft occurred at a business on Chicken Ranch Road.

7:06 a.m., Sonora — A Lora Lane resident said a blue ford Mustang that was still warm and had a purse inside was parked in a nearby field.

11:19 a.m., Jamestown — Coin boxes were broken into at a Jamestown Road business.

6:32 p.m., Groveland — A vacation home on Pine Mountain Drive was burglarize­d.

6:57 p.m., Sonora — An assault occurred on Phoenix Lake Road.

SUNDAY

10:45 a.m., Jamestown — Mail was found on the side of High School Road.

11:07 a.m., Columbia — A person driving on Big Hill Road said a woman driving a red Jeep Cherokee slammed a mailbox shut and “took off,” then did a U-turn and quickly left the area. The reporting party said mail was all over the road.

11:52 a.m., Sonora — A barefoot woman wearing a hospital gown was seen near a Mono Way business.

1:09 p.m., Sonora — A Tamarron Mobile Home Park resident said her roommate broke into her room and threatened to have a man “down the road” assault her.

11:17 p.m., Sonora — A man wearing jeans and a puffy blue coat stole a nine-pack of 16-ounce beers from a Mono Way gas station/mini mart and left in a blue car.

8:34 p.m., Jamestown — Christina Jewell Asherdismo­re, 43, of an unknown address on Peppermint Lane, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest near her home.

12:48 a.m., Sonora — Erica Alexis Reyes, 24, of the 20000 block of Stardust Way, was booked after an arrest on Sanguinett­i Road at Mono Way.

3:39 p.m., Sonora — Christophe­r Ryan Bailey, 32, of the 1200 block of Shaws Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale; possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm; being a person/ addict charged with a felony in possession/control of a firearm; possession of an assault weapon; manufactur­e, import, sale, supply or possession of a large-capacity magazine; keeping a place to sell/etc. narcotic/ controlled substance; manufactur­ing, selling, transporti­ng, etc. an assault weapon; and misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance after an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:17 p.m., Vallecito — A suspicious man was walking partially in the roadway on Highway 4 at Borbe Ranch Road.

7:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A driver pumped fuel from somebody else’s prepaid fuel pump at a Highway 12 gas station, then left.
